Guardian Dogs

We got our first two Guard Dogs in March 2006, at the age of 8 weeks old. We named them Betty and Barney, and upon arrival at the farm, immediately put them in with the goats. From the very start, they had a natural instinct of protecting and living with the herd. As they grew, the pups and goats seemed to teach and learn from each other. Betty and Barney grew into amazing Guard Dogs and had a litter of five girls on Dec, 30th 2006. We kept all five girls and have enjoyed watching them all grow up into the incredible Guard Dogs they are today. Each one has there own personality, but all seven have the same goal, which they never waiver from, and that's to protect there herd from any danger.

Cleo is the farms littlest "Guard Dog". She's a Miniature Schnauzer who was added to the family in December 2009. She may be small, but she thinks she's the mighty Queen of all!

Almost 1 yr old

Zeus was added to our family on Feb. 23rd, after our Barney was injured and passed away on Feb. 7th. Zeus has already proven he'll grow to be a great guard dog, and is wonderful with the goats, but Barney will never be forgotten.
